I bought this coop purely so I don't have another horrendous red-mite infestation this year. I am SO glad I made the switch to plastic. My girls are happy, it's really well made and when I need to clean it, there is nowhere for the red-mite to hide. They were very helpful and moving the nest box from the right side to the left wasn't a problem. It was delivered pre-assembled and good to go with the automatic door opener attached. Couldn't ask for more. Excellent company
Excellent design and quality. Would highly recommend .
Fantastic coop the girls love it, great service and price , thank you very much mike.
This is our third Arkus chicken house. They are fantastic products. Wouldn't have any other type of coop now, so easy to clean and the hens are very happy with them. There was an issue with delivery - the courier damaged the house. Chris at Arkus sorted this out immediately and sent us a replacement out. Excellent service.
Robust, easy to clean, well designed and our hens love it.
This is a very well designed coop. Good access through the nest box / roof / rear hatch. Easy to take apart for cleaning, and possible (though not super easy) for one person to move by themselves.
Fantastic product, fantastic service... highly recommended
We have had the duck house for about 4 years but decided to get rid of our wooden chicken houses and replace with another Arkus model. They are great - easy to clean (a piece of lino on the floor makes it even easier to lift out the dirty bedding), water tight but well ventilated, and a decent size. The plastic remains stable and strong, and the design is very clever. Initially I feared that our bantams wouldn't cope with the perch width but they seem happy with it. We also bought a stand which means they can go underneath the house in bad weather. They don't use that very much. Be careful with the direction you face the opening- inevitably rain will get in the front, so try to minimise it according to prevailing winds.
